Thank you This doesn't work. Same problem with me where it vanished after Windows 10 Upgrade. I then tried to re-install months later (after a lot of updates in Kaspersky), and it worked for a few days. Then it disappeared from my PC again, with no alert. Interesting that you say Win 10 was 'pushed on your computer'.

Windows 10 installed on my sisters computer and she swears she did not click to 'upgrade'. As you have found, Kaspersky disappears, though if you are running Kaspersky 2016 I guess it might do as it is only the earlier versions that are incompatible. In my sisters case I simply visited Kaspersky and upgraded to 2016, using the original activation code that she had (for Kaspersky 2012!) and it worked. Although I could find no files or folders relating to Kaspersky, when I upgraded to 2016 I had an alert that said an earlier version was already in place and I had to run the removal routine and re-start. I have to say it worked without any problems. She has many other Windows 10 related problems though, such as Internet Explore won't work (we've given up and reluctantly accepted the Edge browser)! I also had to do it when I went back to Windows 7 after my months free trial (and what a trial it was with all the bugs and issues I had!). When I ran the tool the second time my machine completely crashed, and I discovered that this is apparently an issue that 'occasionally' happens when running the removal tool. Kaspersky have a solution which involves booting from a rescue disc. Luckily I had made one of these - but it didn't work. A friend of mine who is an IT engineer made a disc himself but he couldn't get it to work either, not on my machine or on any of his. It took a week (and cost me a lot of money) to get the problem sorted which eventually meant a clean re-install of Windows 7.
